Formula
Tonnage for one exercise is the product of the three numbers:
Volume = sets × reps × load
A warm-up set is included only when you type it. The plate page builds a bar. This page does not.
Assumptions
- Every set uses the same reps and load.
- Load already includes the bar if the bar was lifted.
Worked example
4 sets of 8 at 60 kg are 1,920 kg of volume.
Input definitions
- Sets
- How many times the rep group is repeated.
- Load
- The weight on each rep, in kilograms.
Limitations
Volume is not fatigue, proximity to failure, or a program. It is only the product.
Questions
Do warm-ups count?
Only if you include them in the sets you type. The page cannot see the session.
What if the last set has fewer reps?
Enter that set as its own line in your notes. This page uses one rep count.
