Strength Level Calculator

Divide a lift by body weight.

Your inputs

kg
kg

Body-weight multiple

1.25

1× to 1.5× body weight. These bands are multiples, not a federation class.

Band
1× to 1.5×

Formula

The multiple is the lift divided by body weight:

Multiple = lift kg / body kg

Bands are under 1×, 1× to 1.5×, 1.5× to 2×, and 2× or more. They are labels for that ratio, not a published strength classification.

Assumptions

  • Both numbers are kilograms.
  • The lift is one completed load, not a one-rep-max estimate.

Worked example

A 100 kg lift at 80 kg body weight is a multiple of 1.25.

Input definitions

Lift
The load you completed.
Body weight
Your body weight the same day, in kilograms.

Limitations

A ratio is not a ranking. The one-rep-max page estimates a single from reps. The Wilks page scales a powerlifting total.

Questions

Is this a strength sport class?

No. It only reports how many times body weight the lift represents.

Should I use a predicted max?

Only if you type that number in. This page does not run the Epley formula.
