Formula
Earnings are the referred sales times the commission percent:
Earnings = referred orders × average order × commission percent
There is no quota. A sales commission above a quota is a different page.
Assumptions
- Every referred order is worth the average order.
- The percent applies to the merchandise amount you enter.
Worked example
12 orders at $40.00 with an 8% commission earn $38.40.
Input definitions
- Referred orders
- Orders credited to the affiliate. Zero is allowed.
- Commission percent
- The share of those sales paid to the affiliate.
Limitations
This is a planning estimate, not payroll, tax, shipping, or marketplace advice. The currency control changes the symbol only.
Questions
Does this use a sales quota?
No. The sales commission page pays only above a quota. This page pays the percent on every referred order.
Are returns removed?
Only if you leave them out of the order count or the average order.
